🏢 What is Ent?

Ent stands for Entertainment Companies, usually companies that manage artists. The artists signed a contract with those Ents, and then the artists decided which movie they would shoot. Which event will you attend? Everything from what to wear is managed by the company. For those who are a little more advanced, what do they post on social media? When will it be uploaded?

How much the artist has the right to say/do is a company, They are different from each other. Usually, those who have become famous/experienced can do more of what they like, and those who just joined as a newcomer tend to do whatever the company tells them to do. This is a general rule and each person may have exceptions. For example, when you become famous, you get to do whatever the company asks you to do, and you get to choose what you like even though you're new.

Ents are assistants for artists. manager Security They tend to hire photographers. In some companies, two/three artists may share a single manager, or one artist may have one manager. If some of them get a little famous, the Ents give them a private studio dungeon.

🏢 What is Studio?

Studio is a direct translation of the Chinese word (Gongzuoshi). The meaning is "working room". It has nothing to do with the recording studio. Those of you who are into fandoms may have seen Gzs referred to in Weibo posts. That's the studio.

Although it is called a work room, it is not a big building. In fact, it means that the staff group that will work for that artist is specified. It may vary from company to company, but roughly in a studio

🏢 Who owns the studio?

There are two things to be said here. Artists under the management of a company and independent artists.

Since they are under contract with the company, the employees of their studio are the employees of the company that manages them. It's the sense that the team is dedicated to making sure that they have time, and they are not under the artist. Most studios call their artists Boss (总) on their Weibo, but in reality, all studio employees are managed by the company.

For example, in Dilireba, there is Dilireba Studio, but all the employees of that studio are employees of Jaywalk, who signed a contract with Dilireba. The three TFBoys also have their own studios, but they are all owned by TF Entertainment, so they are the main decision makers when it comes to work.

In terms of income, you can earn according to the contract with the company. It's not like this artist gets all the income from the studio.

There are two types of independent artists. An artist who opens a studio and stands with an agent, and an artist who owns his own company.

In China, if you want to get good resources, you don't just have to open a studio, you have to have representatives. In this category, Lu Han, Wu Yifan (Kris Wu) and so on. They are not under contract with any company, they manage their own studio and talk through agents for other work. This agent is also inconsistent and changes after a few years.

In terms of income, the artist who owns the studio gets all of it, and the representative has to pay a fixed service fee.

These types of people don't just run studios, they own entire companies. Entire companies are owned by themselves alone (or shared with others), so they manage them as they see fit. Agents are no longer only used by the company's employees. Negotiate with product companies.

Under that company, they have a private group studio. Since they own the entire company, the studio is theirs to freely do as they please without the manipulation of the company like everyone else.

In terms of income, they get everything from joining the company, the company's office rent, They have to bear the cost of all the staff fees and so on.
