Nominations for 35th Golden Rooster Awards

The Golden Rooster shortlist is out. Even two Traffic Stars.

Zhu Yilong (Lighting Up the Stars) and Yi Yangqianxi (Nice View) are nominated for Best Actor and Ni Ni (Yanagawa) is nominated for Best Actress.

Shen Teng and Wu Jin are also among the actor award finalists.

The finalists are selected from the cars shown between July 2021 and July 2022.

Ni Ni has never won a major award, so if she wins now, it will be her first high-level award.

Qianxi won the New Face Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards and was shortlisted for the Golden Rooster for Better Days. If he wins, it will be the first time he has won a major prize.

As for Zhu Yilong, both the series and he has never won a major film award, so being shortlisted for the Golden Rooster, one of the most visible awards in the Chinese film world, is a real achievement.
